Travelling with a yoga mat can be rather difficult, however you attempt to. Carrying an entire yoga mat under your arm is pretty silly, but rolling up the mat is not much better: it is still a large, cylinder-shaped object. It barely fits in a backpack and a plastic bag is not ideal either, since it is unsafe – especially if you own a nice, slightly expensive yoga mat.  Therefore, it could be sensible to buy a distinct yoga mat bag, in which your yoga mat fits nicely. Making your own yoga bag is hard, so consider buying one at Eastern Trading. Except your yoga mat, you can also store your other yoga accessories in in these bags, like a towel or even incense.

Here at Eastern Trading we have to magnificent yoga bags in our assortment, both are 75 centimeter high and 19 centimeters wide. The bags are equipped with storage compartments, a carrying strap and handles. Both bags are made of high quality cotton, meaning they are durable and will last long. This purple yoga mat bag is brightened up with a Flower of Life. The Flower of Life is a holy symbol, a sign that appears in multiple spiritual movements: it stands for mathematics and geometry. Additionally, her 19 circles are well know in contemporary New Age-movements, in which it means unity consciousness.

2. The seven chakra’s-yoga bag

This black yoga bag is depicted with the seven chakra’s, the energy centers in the physical and spiritual human body. These are located consecutively from your tailbone (1), in the pelvis just below the navel (2), the solar plexus under the sternum (3), in your chest at the heart (4), throat (5), between the eyebrows (6) and above the crown (7).
