The beads are made from the tree "Palo Santo". This is also known as “holy wood”. Palo Santo has a cleansing effect and repels negative energies. This is usually done by burning the wood. By carrying this with you you will always carry cleansing energies with you.
To keep the fragrance alive, you could wipe the beads with an odorless oil every 4 to 5 weeks. You can also lightly scrape the wood. This way these odors will be released as well. It is a special and thoughtful accessory to give as a gift to a loved one or to just wear it yourself.
